With the motto of “Not to be served, but to serve”, the Medical Fellowship of Hebich Memorial Church has been doing commendable service for the past 50 years.
With the abundant grace of God, the Medical Fellowship has gained itself a prominent and creditable place in the hearts and minds of not only the pastors, but the pastorate committee, the members of the church but also the other important organs of the Church. With Christ as its foundation, the flag of the Medical Fellowship has been flying high with service as its important motive.
With Christ as the centre of its being, the members of the Medical Fellowship have been making a constant effort to imbibe the fine qualities of Christ like abundant love, selfless service, pure, unadulterated mind.
The Medical Fellowship has a well chalked out plan of action for the whole year with various activities and projects for the benefit of the needy.
The popular hymn in Kannada which portrays the devotee’s prayer - that he be a willing vessel for the service and glory of Christ, and entreats God that he be washed in the blood of Christ so that his service and work finds favour in the eyes of the LORD Almighty, has been the focal point of this Fellowship.
The Fellowship makes it a point to visit people who are ill- in hospital or at home; the old aged the suffering and provides every bit of possible help. With prayers and encouragement, the members take singular care to let the patient know that Jesus is the mighty healer and in Him they can completely trust and abide.
The Medical association celebrates its annual day each year on the second Sunday of February. On this occasion, the whole service is conducted by the members of the association with active lively participation.
